Feb 22, 2012 · Chris Hammer. Posted February 22, 2012. I don't know what tire youre running but I usually run washougal sticky's on my bike and the 90 feels more planted and stabel compared to the 80. I run the 90/100-21. In the sand is probably the biggest difference to me, it seems like it wont push as much when coming into a corner and feels more on "rails".
Jun 7, 2009 · For the last seven months, I`ve been running a 80-100-21, today went for a short ride, before i left, i decided to install the stock front tire a 90-90-21, what a piece of junk, the bike handles so much better with the 80-100-21, it grabs and most of the push is gone. Now i remember why i changed it, in the first place.:cigar:
80/100-21 vs 90/90-21 vs 90/100-21. I have read a couple of threads but info seems fairly varied to the advantages/ uses of the different sized front tyres. A tyre rep told me that basically 80/100 is for MX, 90/100 is for off road and 90/90 is a bit of both. He reckoned 80/100 holds in ruts better.
from Celsius to Fahrenheit: first multiply by 180 100, then add 32. from Fahrenheit to Celsius: first subtract 32, then multiply by 100 180. 180 100 can be simplified to 9 5, and 100 180 can be simplified to 5 9, so we get this: °C to °F: Divide by 5, then multiply by 9, then add 32.
Apr 22, 2020 · For a tube, you should get a tube size that is suited to the tire you have ON the bike which is 120/80/19. You could use a tube suited for 100/90/19 but it would have to expand more to fit into the 120 so your risk of puncture goes up. Your call. I think your right, all recommended specs that I can find give 100/90-19.
Apr 28, 2021 · We wanted this to be a very comprehensive ADV / Dual Sport Motorcycle Tires test, so we broke the tires into two categories, 80/20 (80 percent on road and 20 percent off road) and 50/50. It should be noted that we used these as generalized categories seeing as that the manufacturers all rate their tires differently (e.g. 90/10, 60/40, 25/75, 30
